Day 5-Exciting Poop
My GI system is not feeling as good as yesterday but I had my first well formed poop in months!! Wahoo!! Who knew you could get so excited about poop…Me!! Unfortunately this was followed by not well formed poop but according to the SCD guide this is a good sign so I’ll take it.
I don’t feel as hungry today due to GI tract being more grumbly or maybe all of this protein is finally satiating me. My energy levels are pretty good too. I walked the dogs our usual 2 ½ miles, took my daughter to gymnastics, then Target without brain fog setting in. I took a short 20 minute meditation break about 2:15 then was able to work out and take kids to Kohls for school shopping without getting exhausted and cranky. Had to eat dinner by 5:15 and relaxed for rest of evening but not feeling totally wiped out like a few months ago. Hope!
Not sure if the grape jello is agreeing with me as I burped it up all afternoon and felt a bit nauseous. Maybe it is a die off reaction too. So difficult to tell what may be from the food and what is from those nasty buggers living in my gut. I think I’ll try the apple cider jello tomorrow and not change anything else to see.
Pre breakfast-2 scoops of collagen
Breakfast-turkey soup, carrots, beef burger and grape jello
Lunch-Turkey soup, spinach, beef burger and grape jello
No snack cuz feeling nauseous
Dinner-Bison burger, turkey soup, carrots and apple jello
