I woke up super bloated this morning. The scale was up another 2 lbs which has me concerned about fluid retention. There is no way that what I ate yesterday should cause any weight gain. I had a bit of the scraping pains again. I’m going to cut down on the Betaine HCL today and start building up again to see what dosage is right for me now.
I forced myself to walk this morning with the dogs which was a good choice as it helped with some of the pain. I kept it light with eating which helped with energy. I was able to do Pilates before work this morning which also helped relieve some pain.
I’m not going to eat the asparagus today or add in a new food. I did take the colostrum though. Not sure if I should take it tomorrow to see if that bothers me again or just cut it out tomorrow. This is a bit frustrating as I was feeling pretty good. I can see how the GI pain affects how I feel and my energy versus days when I felt better there wasn’t even a thought about it. It would be great to feel “normal” without any pain all of the time.
I’m thankful that my energy was still pretty good today. My blood pressure is definitely getting better. Over the past 2 weeks when I’ve had it checked it’s been normal. 114/70 . I had one of the medical assistants check it again because I didn’t believe it was right but it was. At the kidney doctor it was 122/74. Previously it had been 88/55 which is way too low.
When blood pressure is too low the blood doesn’t get up to the brain as effectively which leads to feeling dizzy and foggy. I’m hopeful that my adrenals are on the mend. I’ve been taking adrenal support supplements, giving myself vitamin B shots, taking vitamin C, drinking salt water in the morning, meditating, relaxing and working on not stressing. No easy task but if this is the payoff I highly recommend it.
I took only 2 Betaine HCL with breakfast and only 3 with lunch. No scraping pains and kept the food to the lighter side. Still feel bloated but not painful like this morning. I feel hopeful again.
I took 4 Betaine HCL at dinner and was ok. Definitely better than yesterday. Still feeling bloated but am feeling like it’s hormonal versus just GI because I’m bloated from when I wake up and throughout day which was not the case for me before. Welcome to being 46 years old.
