Today seems like a better day. Scraping pains have subsided and energy is pretty good. Butternut squash seems ok. I had to make more carrots again. I hope I don’t turn orange before I can eat some more foods. Rotating foods on such a limited diet is just not possible when I need food. Fish was way easier to digest than meat so think I’m gonna stay with that for a while.
I had salmon for dinner. I just broiled it with some salt on it. Not very exciting. It definitely tastes better when my husband smokes it after it’s been brined in sugar and salt. Since sugar is a no no on the SCD I settled for just salt. It wasn’t my favorite but at least it’s some variety and seems to be sitting ok in my stomach.
