So much for feeling better. Day started off well but I was definitely more tired. Did I mention that I wake up most mornings around 4:00 am? I don’t get out of bed till 5:00 but not enough sleep to make me feel refreshed. I do go into bed by 8:30 and lights out by 9:00 though.
My mistake this morning was eating some leftover salmon for breakfast. I did it yesterday with the white fish so thought it would be ok. Well I was wrong. About an hour afterwards I started getting the scraping stomach pain which then turned into full blown liver/phantom gallbladder pain. Feels like glass is spasming around my liver, stomach and into my back. Not very comfortable. Had to relax a bit before heading out to work. Made it through the day and thankfully had a session with my guru. I did restorative yoga which made the pain subside but it’s not totally gone.
Not sure if this latest pain has anything to do with the SCD diet or if this is why I’d been having more GI issues which led me to start the diet. Either way this sucks. The ongoing liver/ghost gallbladder pains I’ve dealt with need to get resolved. I’m wondering what the root cause is. EBV in my liver, mercury toxicity, another part of my immune system attacking my liver now? Living with an autoimmune disease is a never ending guessing game of “What’s going on in there?”
Tomorrow is add a new food day. I made some acorn squash but gonna see how I feel in the morning before adding anything new. Adding a new food isn’t as exciting when I’m in pain.
